Mudcrabs

We have never had so much success with the mudcrabs - 36 good bucks in two mornings. We also caught four good flathead, a shark, a stingray and a seasnake (the seasnake was released after some untangling).

It doesn't get much better than this (the beer is just out of picture).

Laurie with a couple of good mudcrabs just before they took a swim in some very hot water.

This poor little shark drowned itself in the dilly, though was not wasted and made excellent bait!

This sizable stingray was also captured in a crab dilly. Brett decided to try the flavor, and we kept the main part of the body for more crab bait. Special care was taken to cut off the poisonous barb on the tail. before too much handling was done.
